Members of the public welcome

Welcome to the Alconbury Parish Council website

Situated in South West Cambridgeshire, just off the A1(M), the village of Alconbury has a population of 1,670 (2001 Census). Alconbury was mentioned in the Domesday Book and was a popular stopping-off point on the Great North Road as early as the 17th Century.

The Parish Council represents the interests of the local community, and more about our work and achievements can be found under 'About us', above. Meetings are normally held on the last Tuesday of each month in the Memorial Hall and members of the public are always welcome. Minutes of previous meetings (from January 2004 onwards) can be found on this site and searched using the Search facility provided. You will also find contact details for all Councillors.

We hope you find our website both useful and informative. We are always looking to improve our service, and any comments or suggestions you may have regarding this site are most welcome. Please e-mail the Webmaster link below.

The date of our next meeting is shown left. We look forward to seeing you there!
