1. Apologies for Absence
Apologies received from District Councillor Keith Baker.

2. To sign and approve minutes of previous Annual Parish Meeting held on 27th May 2008.
Proposed by Mr Watson and seconded by Mrs Hathaway. Minutes duly approved and signed.

3. Chair's Report
Mr Senior welcomed all Parish Councillors and Parishioners and presented his annual report as attached to these minutes.

4. Responsible Finance Officer's Report
The Responsible Finance Officer presented her report as attached to these minutes.

5. Reports from District and County Councillors
Reports prepared by County Councillrs Peter Brown and Laine Kadic and District Councillor Keith Baker were made available to all Councillors and members of the public.

County Councillors Peter Brown and Laine Kadic thanked the Parish Council for their help and co-operation and said how much they had enjoyed working with them over the past year. They were pleased to have helped with the issues mentioned in the Chair’s report such as the planning application for the Post Office, the re-alignment of the A14, the proposed development on the airbase and the re-opening of Truckstop. Councillor Brown said that they would continue to work on maintenance of highways and requested that the Parish Council should report any serious problems with pot holes in the village. Councillor Kadic would continue to monitor repairs to the heritage bridge and the retention of the bus service during these repairs.
